A history made of different stages, that of the Accordini winery, where passion and love for wine are the common matrices of a path that, decade by decade, has become more and more successful. We find ourselves in the heart of Valpolicella, more precisely in Fumane, in the province of Verona, where, in the early 1900s, Stefano Accordini bought the first 5 hectares of land, destined for the production of wines for local consumption. In 1956 and 1962 Stefano's sons Tiziano and Daniele were born, bearers of a new vision, focused on quality rather than mere quantity. Gradually new vineyards were acquired, and production began to be increasingly focused on one wine in particular, Amarone. Today at the helm of Accordini we find the fourth generation of the family, represented by Giacomo and Paolo, ready to face with seriousness and competence the challenges that the complex world of wine poses every day.

Accordini's lands stretch over about 26 hectares in the heart of Valpolicella. Typical local grapes are grown between the rows, and great attention is paid to the drying of the grapes, from which the flagships of the production, Amarone and Recioto, are obtained. In the vineyard, every operation is carried out with the utmost care, aware that wines are made first and foremost here, where daily work and operations are of great importance throughout the year. The winery, small in size but with great technological content, finds the focus of its activity during the stages of vinification and maturation, essential for the proper evolution of each wine.

Today Accordini gives birth to a range of interesting products, perfectly capable of describing the terroir of Valpolicella. Each label is united by a unique and unmistakable style, the result of the bond that has united the family to these hills for more than a century, capable of best synthesizing the peculiarities of a territory that, when it comes to red wines, is certainly second to none. Among the various bottles that see the light from the walls of the winery, a place of honor goes to the Amarone "Acinatico" and the "Fornetto," both of which have won important national and international awards.
