Ardmore

full control of the production process and the absolute quality of the whisky.

Today, the Ardmore distillery has a production capacity of 5,500,000 liters per year, although only 5% of the production is reserved for Single Malts: considered the flagship of the distillery. Unlike its neighbors, Ardmore is one of the rare distilleries in the Highlands that consistently produces peated whisky with a peat level in the malt around 12-14 ppm. In 2007, the first official bottling of the distillery was released: the Ardmore Traditional Cask, a Single Malt whisky with no age statement matured in quarter cask type barrels. In 2014, the Traditional was joined by the Ardmore Legacy: a mix between the classic peated malt of Ardmore and an unpeated malt. These are whiskies that fully embody the spirit of the place of origin: a place of contact between man and the wild forces of nature. From this synergy, exceptional Single Malts are born.
