Beside Gin
Beside is an artisanal company that has decided to dive into the world of Spirits with enthusiasm and passion. The project is part of the nouvelle vague of Gin with a typically territorial face. It is born from the desire to give voice to the atmospheres, scents, and aromas of the spontaneous vegetation of the Mediterranean, which envelop the senses during a warm summer evening spent by the sea. As is often the case for all young distilleries, the reference model is always the classic London Dry Gin, an essential starting point for anyone wanting to try their hand at producing a version of this historic distillate from Northern Europe.
The underlying idea is to create a Gin capable of interpreting the pleasure of being together and sharing a moment in company, granting a unique and unforgettable sensory experience. Its geographical references can be found in the wonderful landscapes of the small fishing villages along the Ligurian coast of the Cinque Terre and in the sunny and welcoming coastline of Cilento. Two lands united by the sea and ancient routes, already traversed by ancient navigators. If the inspiration is linked to the traditions of Mare Nostrum, the packaging is modern and creative, designed by Mario Di Paolo, who chose a tactile texture with vibrant colors and a refined and elegant design, perfectly consistent with the profile of the Gin.
The Gin was born from the experience and talent of the Master of Art and Craft Baldo Baldinini, a famous perfumer and liquorist. Thanks to his sensitivity and knowledge of the world of scents and aromas, he was able to blend in perfect harmony the olfactory and taste components of the distillate, creating a small jewel. All the essences used are the result of a long work conducted in his studio, a true "olfactory laboratory", where he keeps an infinite number of vials containing essences and botanicals from all over the world. Following a careful selection of ingredients, a rigorous processing process ensues. The distillation thus yields a Gin of remarkable finesse, intensely aromatic and original.
