The Bindi Sergardi family has been deeply rooted in Tuscany for centuries, specifically since 1349. This is when the ancestor Niccoluccio Bindi, thanks to his wealth and reputation, gave his son Marco the opportunity to organise an army and prove his worth on the battlefield against the Aretines, allowing him to be elected to the Government of the Republic of Siena in the last years of the 14th century. This was the beginning of a fortunate generational succession, inseparably linked to Chianti Classico, and which has always included wine production among the family operations. Currently, it is Nicolò Casini, who belongs to the 22nd generation of Bindi Sergardi, that has invested time and dedication in perfecting the winery's activities, identifying new land to expand the family vineyard heritage and scientifically selecting new varietal clones of vines to improve production.

It is now Alessandra Casini, Nicolò's daughter, who is responsible for the management of the Bindi Sergardi winery. Thanks to her tenacious and courageous personality, the winery is enjoying a flourishing and truly successful period, applying science and research to improve quality. The winery boasts three estates - I Colli, Mocenni and Marcianella - which cover a total of 1,000 hectares on Tuscan soil. Of these, 100 are planted with vines and are divided between the municipalities of Castelnuovo Berardenga, Monteriggioni and Chiusi, all within the province of Siena. Each estate is distinguished by different climatic and morphological characteristics, with different soils and denominations. For example, the rocky soils rich in alberese in the Mocenni Estate are ideal for the highest quality expression of Chianti Classico wine.

The Chianti wine of Bindi Sergardi is consequently a solid and proud representative of the Tuscan terroir, not only organoleptically, but also traditionally, as it manages to successfully reflect the centuries-old historical heritage in every single sip.

"Le risposte che la terra ha dato alla mia dedizione sono state forti, vitali, e oneste e ne ho derivato certezze indimenticabili nel corso dei lunghi anni che le ho dedicato con passione: mi sembra che quello che oggi esiste sorrida nel vigore delle vigne d’estate e nel rigore delle vigne d’inverno"
