The estate was founded in 2008 and is still led by CEO and co-founder Bertha Gonzalez Nieves, the first woman Maestra Tequilera certified by the Academia Mexicana de Catadores de Tequila. The foundation of Casa Dragones is the constant pursuit of modern and sustainable production through the concept of innovation, in order to always offer something new and special while preserving the environment for future generations. Not surprisingly, the production process of Casa Dragones is recognized by the Tequila Regulatory Council as the most sustainable in the industry. To maintain high quality standards, the quantity of production is kept limited, allowing for great care and attention to each bottle that leaves the distillery.
