Cascahuin is a historic brand of excellent quality Tequila. The distillery was founded in 1904 by Salvador Rosales Briseño and is located in the region of Jalisco, one of the most suitable areas in all of Mexico for the cultivation of agave, a true icon of the country. The success of the company is based on a careful selection of the best agave plants, always known as one of the best in the area. The processing of the distillate is still carried out today according to the oldest local customs. The agaves are carefully selected only from those that have reached adulthood, at 8-10 years old, thus ensuring rich and sugary aromas. The plants are hand-cut and worked with artisanal skill to extract the heart, which is cooked very slowly in stone ovens, capable of naturally retaining heat. The agave pulp is then shredded and sent to the fermentation phase, in order to produce the juice. We then proceed to the last part of the processing, which involves distillation in classic stills, which yield a pure, fragrant, and aromatic Tequila. Depending on the various types: Blanco Tahoma, Reposado, Añejo, Extra Añejo, Extra Añejo, the distillate matures in steel tanks or in various types of wood for different periods. Before bottling, the Tequila is lowered in proof with the addition of pure and light water.
