Cazadores
Cazadores is a Tequila brand that produces a spirit with an absolutely unique taste. Its characteristic comes directly from the place of production, the famous Mexican highlands of the Arandas area in Jalisco. In this area, still wild and unspoiled, you might encounter large specimens of deer among the fields of blue agave. To remember this majestic animal, in 1922 a farmer chose the highland deer as the symbol of his Tequila. An absolutely unique spirit, which stood out from the rest of the production for a very soft, seductive, and tasty profile, rich and harmonious. Thus, the name “Calzadores” was born, which today is synonymous worldwide with a high-quality Tequila.
Tequila Cazadores, although it was born recently, is based on an ancient recipe. It is said that a farmer from Arandas spent nights trying to create a pulque of better quality than that which was drunk in the local cellars. From this experience, they set out to create a spirit that could tell the tradition of this land. Tequila is indeed born in the highlands of the Jalisco area and from the work of the jimadores, who hand-cut with ancient wisdom, only the adult plants of blue agave, one of the most prized varieties in Mexico for its richness and aromatic elegance, which has always allowed for the creation of spirits of particular finesse.
The entire production process requires the application of a rigorous protocol, designed to be absolutely sustainable and with zero waste. After cutting the agave, the heart is cooked in traditional brick ovens, according to the oldest customs, and the precious juice extracted from the agave undergoes double fermentation. This is followed by a careful double distillation process, in order to obtain a Tequila of exceptional purity and smoothness. At the end, the spirit is sent to the maturation phase, which takes place under the expert and watchful eye of the Maestro Tequilero. Only after the aging process is complete, is the bottling and sale carried out.
