Cazcabel

Cazcabel is a Premium Tequila brand that produces a range of high-quality labels. The company is owned by the Vazquez family, which can rely on the experience of four generations in the field of agave cultivation and Tequila production. The distillery is located in Atotonilco El Alto, in the Jalisco highlands, near the agave cultivation fields and natural springs of pure water that flow down from the mountains. At the heart of the success of Cazcabel spirits is a particular attention given to the process of cultivation, selection, and harvesting of the agave of the prized Blue Weber variety, which is cut only when it has reached adulthood, after about 7-8 years of life, in order to ensure excellent aromatic richness

The plants are cultivated at altitude and on soils rich in minerals, allowing the agave to grow lush and healthy. Once cut and stripped of their leaves, the hearts of the agave plants are extracted, which are then steamed in an autoclave, with constant temperature control.autoclave, with constant temperature control. This is followed by the fermentation phase, which takes place in stainless steel tanks and lasts about 10 days. The agave juice is then distilled in copper and steel stills, which ensure maximum expressive finesse. At the end of the processing, the Tequila is cold-filtered to remove any impurities and give the distillate a transparent and crystalline appearance.

In addition to the goal of maximum quality, Cazcabel is a company that is sensitive and attentive to the environmental sustainability of the production process and the interests of the local communities in the Jalisco region, who have always been the guardians of the secrets of Tequila. After producing the distillate, the production waste is dried and used as fuel for the autoclaves, the unused agave fiber is recycled as organic compost to be used in the fields as natural fertilizer to cultivate new agave plants. The distillery uses renewable energy sources, solar or wind. Many production processes are still carried out by hand according to artisanal practices in order to create jobs for local communities, and the profits from the distillery shop are donated to local charities.
