Dianetti
The Dianetti winery is located in Carassai, a town in the Marche region situated in the southern part of the Valle Menocchia. We are talking about the extraordinary valley that connects the Monti Sibilini to the Adriatic Sea and offers a cooler climate than the rest of Piceno. Here, at the extreme north of the Offida denomination, Emanuele Dianetti, a banker and also a winemaker in his spare time, with the help of his mother Giuliana and Michele Quagliarini, cultivates the land with exemplary passion, inherited from his parents. He studies, plans, and experiments in order to find the recipe that best suits the production of his nectars.
Every year, from the 4 hectares of vineyards, wines of great territoriality sprout, which have quickly conquered the market. The secret, reveals Emanuele, is the deep knowledge of the land; in fact, he studies every centimeter he cultivates, knows what each area can give, and which territorial elements can influence the course of the vintage. Only with the utmost attention to detail can the highest quality peaks be reached; and when you have 4 hectares the work is even more meticulous. For Dianetti, wine is the perfect love between land, man, and vineyard, and when this triangle works, the result is extraordinary. Because in the end, the liquid we love so much is nothing but the image of a territory, the biographical story of the producer, and the most genuine expression of his grape.
Dianetti cultivates Montepulciano and Pecorino vines at about 200 meters above sea level on a ridge composed of a mixture of sand, gravel, and silt, with the presence of clay and limestone. The vines enjoy a very favorable climate, made so by the continuous ventilation coming from the mountains and the sea that channels into the valley. Emanuele loves the expressive purity and refinement of taste and thus in the winery saturates the tanks with inert gas, does short macerations, and tries to avoid long stays on the lees. His range includes whites with a young and marine spirit, equipped with citrus notes and a very smooth drink, and more intense and decisive reds, with a deep and full-bodied personality, aged in barriques to shape all the tannic angles. Exciting stories of territory!
