Elly's
Elly's is an Italian artisan brand specializing in the production of premium gin that encapsulates the passion and curiosity of the two founding friends, as well as their personality and desire to share. The project originated almost as a game in 2021 when Riccardo and Gabriele, returning from Portugal, decided to purchase a small copper still for home use, creating the first homemade recipe. From that moment on, the desire to explore and the will to convey in the bottle the countless experiences accumulated during their travels around the world fueled the growth of Elly's. Through the numerous nuances of their gins, the two friends aim to tell their journeys and experiences, "capturing" the scents and flavors of the most distant countries. Elly's gin belongs to the London Dry category, which identifies those gins produced through the distillation of an infusion of botanicals and alcohol in traditional stills or in a steam current, without the addition of flavors.
In the preparation of their gins,Elly's uses various botanicals cultivated under organic farming, carefully selected from around the world, including long pepper from Cambodia, hibiscus flowers, coriander seeds, cinnamon, jasmine flowers, cloves, Indian black tea, bay leaves, cardamom, and the essential juniper berries. These ingredients are infused into a 96% alcohol base produced through the distillation of organic grain, and the mixture is then distilled again using a discontinuous copper still crafted by the expertise of the Müller family, German artisans specializing in stills. The distillate is then balanced with microfiltered water to reach the desired alcohol content and after a brief resting period, it is finally bottled and hand-labeled.
Elly's '21' was the first gin intended for commercialization created by Riccardo and Gabriele in 2022. It is a London Dry with an exotic and original character, ideal for sipping neat but also perfect for mixology.
