Enzo Boglietti is a Piedmontese winegrower, who runs a fine family-run business with the help of his sons. True to tradition, he produces wines that represent the authentic face of the Langhe. This is a fairly recent estate, which has, however, been able to make a name for itself thanks to careful and scrupulous work, both in the vineyard and in the cellar. The core of the estate is made up of the original few hectares, with parcels located in the Brunate, Roscaleto, Boiolo, Bricco del Dente and Fossati areas, all in the commune of La Morra. Until the early 1990s, the property retained the character of a mixed farm and the grapes were sold to other wineries. It was only in 1991 that Enzo Boglietti started making and bottling his own wine, aware of the value of his wines.

Thanks to the advice of other winegrowers in the area, Enzo Boglietti began to manage the vineyard in the name of quality, thinning out and lowering yields to improve the concentration of aromas. The cellar was equipped with stainless steel tanks for fermentation, with barriques, French oak tonneaux and large Slavonian oak barrels for ageing. Over the years, the estate has continued to grow and today the property covers 22 hectares, with high quality vineyards located in the communal areas of Barolo, Monforte, Roddino, Serralunga and Sinio. Agronomic management is based on careful observation of the individual vineyards, in an attempt to better understand their characteristics and needs. A process that aims to improve the level of the wines of the cru: Brunate, Case Nere, Fossati, Boiolo from the municipality of La Morra and Arione from the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba.

In the vineyards, the principles of integrated pest management are applied, using organic products in full respect of nature and to safeguard environmental biodiversity. The inter-rows are grassed and only organic fertilisers are used. Since 2017, the estate has been certified organic, completing a natural path towards sustainability. The vines are planted at a high density and produce few bunches per plant. All harvesting is done manually with small crates to avoid damaging the grapes. Vinification is conducted in a simple manner, using low doses of sulphur dioxide and trying to minimise clarification and filtration. to maintain the integrity of the wines. The result of all this attention translates into a range of vines that are straightforward and faithful to the traditions of the terroir, interpreting with transparency the characteristics of each cru and each vineyard.
