Eva Fricke

The Eva Fricke winery was founded in Eltville, in the Rheingau, one of Germany's most renowned areas for Riesling. The personal project began immediately, guided by a clear and consistent vision, thanks to which this reality gradually established itself over time. Eva decided to work with carefully selected plots and a recognisable stylistic identity, always linked to the territory. The common thread, both for the immediate wines and for the more intense territorial expressions, is the story of soils, exposures and microzones through an essential language: Riesling. This grape variety becomes the narrative centre of the winery, a privileged tool for interpreting the Rheingau.

Fricke Eva's production method is rigorous, based on direct control of all stages. The company operates with European-recognised organic certification and manages production, processing and export internally. In the vineyards, the natural balance of the plants is promoted, avoiding invasive interventions and favouring agronomic management that focuses on soil vitality. In the cellar, a non-interventionist philosophy prevails, which aims to preserve integrity and precision, allowing the raw materials and the vintage to guide the final result.

In a glass of Eva Fricke, one immediately recognises a defined and consistent style, characterised by aromatic clarity and gustatory tension. The olfactory profiles often move on fresh and linear registers, with hints of citrus, white fruit and mineral notes that reflect the nature of the soils. Verticality and precision emerge on the palate, with all wines favouring verve and elegance over power. The more territorial labels amplify the nuances of the place, while the parcel selections add depth without losing definition, creating a compact and recognisable range built on freshness and minerality.
