Ixsir
Ixsir carries out its winemaking processes in a traditional Lebanese house dating back to the 17th century that, perched on a hill with steep slopes included in the municipality of Batroun, conceals beneath it a contemporary winery suitable for vinification and aging that makes environmental sustainability its core business. The offered line is of international inspiration and profile, drawing from the typical wine tradition of the Bordeaux area: the reds age in barrique and are the result of international grape varieties just like the whites, where in some of them – like in the Altithude - one can also find a Lebanese native variety, called Obeideh and identified as the ancestor of Chardonnay, which manages to give the products where it is used natural spicy aromas, transporting you to the East in a single swirl of the glass.
1800 meters above sea level, a characteristic that gives Ixsir the title of holder of the highest altitude vineyards in the entire northern hemisphere.Ixsir carries out its winemaking processes in a traditional Lebanese house dating back to the 17th century that, perched on a hill with steep slopes included in the municipality of Batroun, conceals beneath it a contemporary winery suitable for vinification and aging that makes environmental sustainability its core business.
