La Marca di San Michele
Three are the qualities that emerge when tasting the Verdicchio from the La Marca di San Michele winery: freshness, salinity, and minerality. Within the range of wines from the estate, the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Riserva 'Passolento' and the Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore 'Capovolto' stand out, true expressions of the territory.
the winery has 2 hectares of arable land and 2 hectares of olive groves, thus configuring itself as a polycultural agricultural estate. When the grapes reach the ideal stage of ripeness, manual harvesting in boxes takes place, followed by the classic white winemaking for Verdicchio, without skin maceration. Fermentation is entrusted to indigenous yeasts only, and as winemaking vessels, stainless steel tanks or large Slavonian oak barrels are used, containers in which the wines rest for a long time on the fine lees. Throughout the entire production process, the use of sulfur is minimized and no filtration operations are carried out.Three are the qualities that emerge when tasting the Verdicchio from the La Marca di San Michele winery: freshness, salinity, and minerality.
