In 1975 Gianfrancesco Moriconi founded a family run winery, located in the municipality of Belvedere Ostrense, in the province of Ancona. In 1992 three sons Martina, Gian Mario and Monica became part of the winery's management that in addition to their outstanding contribution have given the name to the winery, being the abbreviation of their names.
Each of them is engaged in a different industry, always under the supervision of their father Gianfrancesco.
The vineyards are located in the municipality of Belvedere Ostrense and in the municipality of San Marcello, on hilly slightly alkaline and calcareous clay terrain particularly suitable for the cultivation of native vines of the Lacrima di Morro and Verdicchio. All the vineyards are equipped with a drip irrigation system, which is exclusively used for emergency irrigation, and a fertigation system.
The company is also equipped with a control unit for weather monitoring humidity, rain, temperature and direction of the winds. The modern cellar, opened in 2007, allows you to manage all the phases of winemaking. But beyond any sophisticated technology, perhaps the most important elements to reach the finish line, producing high quality wines, there are the love and the enthusiasm that the managers of Cascina Ma.Ri.Ca have for hard work and for their land.
