Lari Niccolò
Niccolò Lari is a small reality that was born on the hills surrounding Florence, in Malmantile in the municipality of Lastra a Signa. An idea that comes from Niccolò's desire, the owner of the winery, to change his life and thus give a "turnaround", as the winery was previously named, to his professional career, going from employee to winemaker. A dream that comes true following his great passion for the world of wine and that today is reflected in his genuine and artisanal bottles that, year after year, receive more and more recognition and appreciation. Undoubtedly thanks to the passion that guides him in every production phase, from the vineyard to the winery, to obtain original and unique wines, symbols of his land and his nonconformist and unconventional spirit. Niccolò is now a 360-degree winemaker, convinced of his choices and ideas, who loves his land and his work, who toils in the vineyard and smiles almost moved when every year his grapes thrive from the blessed Tuscan soil. His passion does not end here because around the
vines he cultivates olives, which give rise to excellent extra virgin oil, and raises bees that produce delicious honey.
The vineyards of the Niccolò Lari winery are located at about 175 meters above sea level and extend over a vineyard area of 5 hectares. Grown according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture, he obtains the most typical grapes of the Tuscan tradition: Sangiovese, primarily, followed by Trebbiano and smaller quantities of Merlot and Canaiolo. The sensitivity in the vineyard is realized with minimally invasive practices aimed at safeguarding the vitality and expressiveness of the territory. Thus, Niccolò does not tolerate chemical or synthetic products, which can hinder the spontaneous course of nature. In the winery, the idea remains the same, therefore spontaneous fermentations and absence of invasive processes, such as filtration and clarification.
The wines of Niccolò Lari are interpretations rich in territorial content that photograph the Florentine territory without filters and retouches and return it with fidelity and definition in the glass.
Expressions (red or white) that are appreciated for their expressive freshness, the fine savoriness, the Mediterranean note, and the typical rustic sensation of the territory.Niccolò Lari is a small reality that was born on the hills surrounding Florence, in Malmantile in the municipality of Lastra a Signa.
