intense. Nicole manages the vineyards with great respect for the terroir and the environmental context. As is customary in Burgundy, the Domaine has been created over time through the acquisition of numerous small parcels, which today create a precious mosaic of vineyards, predominantly located in the municipality of Vosne-Romanée. A true jewel of the family is the monopole parcel La Grande Rue, which is situated among the Grand Cru vineyards of Romanée-Conti, La Romanée, and La Tâche.

Other prestigious vineyards are found in the esteemed Grand Cru terroirs of Grands-Échezeaux, Échezeaux, Clos de Vougeot, and in the Premier Cru: Vosne Romanée, Les Malconsorts, Les Suchots, Les Chaumes, La Croix Rameau, and Les Cras. Today the estate is run according to the principles of organic farming and the vineyards are cultivated with high planting density, in order to encourage competition among the plants and obtain few clusters, but characterized by an extraordinary aromatic concentration. The winemaking is done simply and traditionally, with the sole

objective of enhancing the quality of the raw material. The aging takes place in French oak barrels with a maximum use of new wood of 50%, so as not to excessively mark the wines with woody notes.objective of enhancing the quality of the raw material.
