Orma

Orma is located in the wonderful territory of Bolgheri, the kingdom of great reds made with the noble Bordeaux grape varieties. It is part of the properties of the Moretti Cuseri family, which owns the famous Tenuta Sette Ponti in Castiglion Fibocchi, in the province of Arezzo, and the Poggio al Lupo estate in Magliano, in the heart of the Grossetana Maremma. These are 3 territories of absolute excellence, expressing different faces of Tuscany, each with its peculiarities. Bolgheri is a relatively young area compared to other classic regions of the historical denominations of the region, but following the worldwide success of a champion like Sassicaia, it has become one of the most interesting areas and today produces some of the most appreciated bottles in the world.

The Orma winery encapsulates all the charm of the Bolgheri territory. This refers to the Tuscan coast, with a typically Mediterranean climate, mitigated by the sea breeze and sheltered from cold winds by a hilly area that runs parallel to the coast, providing a true cradle for international red grape varieties of Bordeaux origin. Thanks to the favorable climatefavorable and particularly suited soils of clays, pebbles, and sands, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot express themselves with great maturity and aromatic richness. The estate extends over 7.5 hectares, of which 5.5 are cultivated with vineyards, with a sunny exposure facing southwest, within a natural context rich in pine forests, woods, and Mediterranean scrub.

It is in this magnificent territory that Orma wines are born, true excellences of this precious Tuscan territory. They are great reds that harmoniously combine the typical varietal notes of Bordeaux grape varieties with the Mediterranean character of the coastline of Bolgheri. Thus, they are expressions with a distinct personality, capable of uniting these two aspects in a skillful balance, creating a combination of great charm. Wines that express remarkable aromatic richness, an important structure, dressed in class and elegance. Far from the pursuit of concentration and power, Orma wines know how to capture the most refined nuances of a terroir with great potential.
