La Maison Philippe Dechelle is a small artisanal producer who has been passionately dedicated to crafting quality Champagne for several generations. The Dechelle family has a longstanding history in the world of wine. The current owner's grandfather, in addition to being a viticulturist, was skilled in grafting. After the crisis and vine destruction caused by phylloxera at the end of the 19th century, he participated in the reconstruction of the French vineyard by planting new vines on American rootstocks. In 1982, Philippe Dechelle took over the family properties, deciding to leave the cooperative where he delivered grapes to establish his independent Maison.

The estate is located in Brasles, in the western Vallée de la Marne area, covering a total area of 9 hectares divided into numerous plots, all of excellent quality. The vineyards are cultivated on gentle, sunny, and well-ventilated slopes characterized by limestone marl. Management is based on the ancient savoir-faire passed down through generations, common-sense farming, and careful observation of nature. The status of an independent Maison allows for complete control over the entire production process, managing every stage from the vineyard to the cellar independently and always pursuing the quality goal.

Pinot Noir, Meunier, and Chardonnay grapes are harvested at full maturity, expressing excellent aromatic richness while retaining high acidity—a fundamental prerequisite for crafting excellent sparkling bases. After the initial vinification, the still wines are aged for several months before blending and undergoing a second fermentation in the bottle, lasting a minimum of three years. The entire production process involves minimal sulfur usage, preserving the wine's maximum integrity and natural expressiveness. The final result is Champagne, which combines good evolution and aromatic intensity with the taut, mineral freshness characteristic of the prestigious terroir.
