Roccolo Grassi winery is located in the Val di Mezzane, in the province of Verona, and since 1996 has become reference for the production of Valpolicella and Soave. Located halfway between the DOC of these two varieties, cultivating the Valpolicella on the hills and the Soave in the plain, the winery owns 14 hectares of vineyards, which includes the nearby vineyard Broia, the vineyard San Bricco in the hills and, the most important , the prized vineyard Roccolo Grassi from which the company takes its name. The yields are very low and the favorite technique of breeding is the Guyot, which although it requires considerable efforts and economic management, it offers the opportunity to find a balance and a detailed inspection of the work in the vineyard. The management of the winery is in the careful hands of Marco Sartori, painstaking enologist who was able to give to his father Bruno’s company, which dated back to the seventies, along with her sister Francesca from 2003, a new philosophy of success: a family business with ambitious plans and capable of achieving important wines. The choices of the winery are in fact exclusively oriented to the creation of recognizable personality wines, being animated by their territory and forged by their perfectionist winemaker’s style. The passion, the quality, the excellence, and not the quantity, are the requirements by which Roccolo Grassi wines become an emotion, a memory.

"Capire ed interpretare territorio, ambiente, vitigno è la base per ottenere vini eccellenti, riconoscibili e con personalità"
