Roner

Roner is a distillery from South Tyrol skillfully run by three generations and specialized in the production of grappa, spirits, and high-quality aquavits. It was founded in 1946 by Gottfried Roner, who installed the first still in the family home. After the initial successes achieved with grappa, Gottfried decided to enrich his production by adding gentian, juniper, and blueberry liqueurs, which are still among the highlights of the distillery today. In the mid-60s, the management of the business passed into the hands of his sons Andreas and Guenther, who in 2007 handed the baton to the very young Karin, responsible for the further expansion of the distillery and its qualitative and philosophical growth.

At the Roner distillery, the typical phases of distillation are enriched by a love for perfection and solid experience. Before preparing the must or mash, the freshest pomace and the most fragrant fruit are selected to ensure that the final product has delicate aromas and fullness.of the bouquet. At the end of fermentation, distillation occurs using both techniques: continuous and discontinuous. Following stabilization, filtration is performed, which gives the distillate a harmonious and elegant character.

The excellent quality of the raw materials and the use of the most modern technologies that coexist with the knowledge and respect for the rules of distillation allow Roner to produce distillates that are appreciated for their genuineness and naturalness. The alpine water, pure and fresh, is known to be rich in trace elements, and its use in all stages of processing makes Roner's distillates exceptional.
