Sibillini spirits

Sibillini Spirits was born from the desire of three passionate friends who, coming from different professional backgrounds, come together around their common interest in good food and good drink, and above all, are strongly connected by their love for their Marche. Andrea, a structural engineer by profession, Matteo, a digital project manager with a degree in agriculture, and Marco, a sales director in the wine sector, are the inventors of this project rooted in the territory of the Sibillini Mountains National Park. The innovative idea is to develop the possibility of creating a line of high-quality spirits with a short supply chain and fully traceable, through the reinterpretation of ancient recipes that are an expression of a recognized local tradition. The vector line that constitutes the logo on the label is a representation of the peaks that dominate the landscape, starting from the Cima del Redentore at 2448 meters.

Sibillini Spirits produces the first Gin entirely conceived and made in the Marche region. The company is based in the municipality of Fiastra, in the province of Macerata and the entire botanical supply chain is cultivated and harvested in the Sibillini Mountains. The emblematic aromatic plant of the project is represented by the Mela rosa dei Sibillini: a Slow Food presidium that allows the bottles to bear the exclusive quality logo of the Park, highlighting the importance of environmental sustainability in their production. Considering that most of the well-known Gin distilleries use juniper from the Apennines, a lush area of medicinal plants, the decision of the three founders to rely solely on local products seems very prudent. In addition to the wild Juniper, harvested in Andrea's fields, the line of medicinal plants features Absinthe, which grows in Marco's crops, then Dill and Lemon Balm, along with some plants never used in other types of Gin, leading up to the selection of the final 7 botanicals.
