Tenute Collesi
Tenute Collesi is an original reality that has managed to carve out a prominent role with a production of quality distillates and craft beers. The company was founded in 1997 by Giuseppe Collesi, with the desire to produce high-end labels, capable of establishing themselves as true excellences within the Italian and international landscape. It is a microcosm animated by great passion, experience, and competence, put at the service of a project that aims to combine tradition and innovation in the name of eco-sustainability. All the cultivations and production processes of beers and distillates take place with the utmost respect for the environment, under a zero emissions protocol. All the energy used in the company comes from a photovoltaic system and a pellet-fed steam generator, with absolute exclusion of hydrocarbons and LPG.
The company is located in the small medieval village of Apecchio, in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, almost on the border with Abruzzo, immersed in a landscape characterized by unspoiled nature. It is a beautiful area of the hilly inland at an altitude of about 700 meters above sea level. The cool and breezy climate is ideal for the cultivation of the raw materials used in production. The distillery was inaugurated in 2001 and within a few years, its labels began to receive awards and recognitions, which attested to their absolute quality. Today, the grappas produced by Tenute Collesi are loved by enthusiasts for their refined and elegant profile.
In 2005, Tenute Collesi faced a new challenge and ventured into beer production. The first bottles were put on sale at the beginning of 2008 and quickly established themselves in the Italian craft beer scene. To embark on this new adventure, Giuseppe Collesi enlisted the collaboration of Belgian Master Brewer Marc Knops, with the aim of producing labels inspired by classic Belgian Trappist beers. The Beers of Tenute Collesi are made using a high fermentation process and are bottled without pasteurization and filtration. The latest news in the spirits sector concerns a Gin and a Vodka made with Italian raw materials.
