Three Cents

Three Cents is a brand that was born in Greece in 2014 and quickly transformed from a small artisanal reality into a brand of acclaimed international success, founded by four young individuals from different economic and entrepreneurial backgrounds, but united by long experiences in the field of mixology. Vassilis Kalantzis, George Bazos, George Tsirikos, Dimitris Dafoupolos meet on several occasions, discussing their dreams, ideas, and visions around mix-and-drink, and immediately realize the necessity and possibility of creating the decisive effervescent ingredient that, in their opinion, the quality beverage world is still unable to offer. They delve into the technical side of bubbles, studying and experimenting as much as possible with the science of carbonation and reconsidering the importance of an emblematic period in the history of 'sodas', namely Prohibition in the United States during the Great Depression. The alcohol ban led to the birth and widespread diffusion of the so-called "soda fountains": for two cents one could serve a Two Cents Plain at the pharmacy, tap sparkling water; with the addition of flavored syrups that provided a variety of tastes, the price rose to three cents. Three Cents Artisanal Beverages is a name inspired by the golden age of fizz.

Three Cents crafts its range of soft drinks in an artisanal manner, focusing without shortcuts on the quality of raw materials. Spring water, first and foremost, and the use of 100% natural ingredients, excluding the use of preservatives, colorants, and artificial flavors: the taste comes from the use of citrus peels and fruits, rather than juices from concentrate as typical of industrial productions. The creation of the perfect soda has been achieved through a particularly advanced technical adjustment: to ensure a constant fizziness that does not dissipate upon opening the bottle and lasts until the last sip of the cocktail, carbon dioxide is dissolved in water at very low temperatures and very high pressure. The formula for making sodas and tonics fizzier has been developed after endless experiments and tests conducted together with professional bartender experts, also leading to the creation of a specific 200 milliliter capacity bottle, sealed with a special crown cap.

Three Cents produces a complete line of sodas and tonics, along with mixed soft drinks, specifically designed for an extreme blending experience, as well as for extraordinary tasting moments in purity.
