Tom Time

Tom Time is a Lombard brand of artisanal gin launched by the La Costa winery within the Regional Park of Montevecchia and the Curone Valley, a place that provides a mix of herbs, barks, and berries of exceptional quality. Tom Time aims to condense the aromas and flavors of this territory of Alta Brianza into a direct experience for the consumer, wherever they may be. The idea to produce gin was conceived by Claudia Crippa, producer of La Costa, together with Davide Marelli and Luca Bennato, with the goal of enhancing the numerous spontaneous botanicals that grow in the Montevecchia Park, famous for its aromatic herbs as well as viticulture. The origins of the La Costa winery date back to 1992, the year Giordano Crippa started his winemaking project to enhance his beloved land. Today, the estate not only produces wines and other products of great authenticity but also offers the opportunity to enjoy traditional Brianza dishes at Cascina Galbusera Nera and to stay in a welcoming 18th-century farmhouse at Cascina Costa.

The ‘Cold Compound’ Gin from the Tom Time brand of La Costa comes from a selection of botanicals collected within the Montevecchia Park and the Curone Valley, including: red fir wood and cypress cones, which provide balsamic aromas, the rosemary of Montevecchia, with a Mediterranean character, the queen of meadows, a rare spontaneous herb with pronounced floral notes, and finally juniper, an essential ingredient of gin. The term ‘Cold Compound’ indicates that most of these ingredients are not distilled, but rather cold macerated in alcohol, which allows for maximum preservation of the integrity of the aromas contained in the botanicals.

With its intriguing balsamic and delicately Mediterranean sensations, the ‘Cold Compound’ Gin Tom Time La Costa represents the ideal base for creating cocktails that evoke the lush territory of the Montevecchia Park and the Curone Valley.
