Vajra
The Vajra winery is located in the Vergne hamlet of the Barolo village, in the heart of the Langhe region. It is a family-run estate, managed by Aldo Vajra and his wife Milena, with the collaboration of their children Giuseppe, Francesca, and Isidoro, who have been involved in the various business activities for several years, carrying on the tradition with passion and expertise. Today, Vajra is one of the most prestigious names in the denomination, having distinguished itself with a range of classically styled wines that interpret with extreme finesse and elegance the characteristics of an extraordinary terroir, dedicated to viticulture for centuries.
The Vajra estate covers a total area of 60 hectares, with some particularly prized parcels located in the Bricco delle Viole, Costa di Rose, and Ravera crus. In addition to the historic core in the Barolo municipal area, since 2009 Vajra also manages the vineyards of the Luigi Baudana property located in Serralunga d’Alba, in the Ceretta and Baudana localities.
