Vintre Moller
Vintre Møller is a Danish distillery specialized in the production of gin and vodka according to a truly sustainable approach, aimed at establishing a totally green and self-sufficient production chain. The headquarters of this production reality is represented by an old brewery located in Midtsjælland, a geographical area of Zealand, the largest island of Denmark. Next to the brewery, there is an ancient watermill that has been producing flour, beer, and other fine products since 1374. Before starting the Vintre Møller project, officially launched in 2020, Henrik Hammer was and still is dedicated to the production of award-winning gin under the brands Hammer & Son and Frederiksberg Gin.
The production of gin and vodka at the Vintre Møller distillery begins with the cultivation and harvesting of wheat and various botanicals in the lands surrounding the facility, always conducted with a sincere respect for the environment, without the use of pesticides and chemical fertilizers, and following the principles of organic farming.Furthermore, the energy used in the distillery is derived from eco-friendly wind turbines, as well as from the mill and photovoltaic cells installed on the roof of the facility. Henrik is also committed to using recycled materials and avoiding toxic cleaning products. Instead, the water used in the production process comes from an artesian well connected to an aquifer located 10 meters below the distillery, through which the water flows freely due to natural pressure. Distillation occurs in small batches and in several stages through copper stills, and before bottling, the distillate is diluted with pure water from the artesian well.
The 'Green Meadow' Vodka was the first product marketed by the Danish distillery Vintre Møller, immediately winning a gold medal at the Spirit Business Vodka Masters, a competition created to identify and reward the best vodkas from around the world. It is a "total green" vodka that stands out for its harmony and balance, characteristics that contribute to the elegance of this spirit.
