Tenuta Cavalier Pepe's Aglianico "Terra del Varo" bears the name of the vineyards surrounding the winery in the village of Santa Vara. It is made from a blend of Aglianico and Merlot grapes grown on clayey and calcareous hillsides. The vinification process involves about ten days of maceration on the skins and ageing in steel and cement tanks, which preserve the freshness and aroma.
