It is made from a blend of Aglianico and Merlot grapes grown on clayey and calcareous hillsides. The vinification process involves about ten days of maceration on the skins and ageing in steel and cement tanks, which preserve the freshness and aroma. The nose reveals aromas of sour cherries and blackberries with light mint notes and a finish of sweet spices. On the palate, it is soft, elegant and spicy, with harmonious tannins and a long finish.
