The Alta Langa Riserva sparkling wine by Coppo is produced by the Coppo family in their century-old winery in Canelli, the heart of the Astigiano region in Piemonte. In an area better known for sweet sparkling wines and for wines made from historic Piemonte grape varieties, the fourth generation represented by Massimiliano and Edoardo preserves family traditions with an innovative outlook.
In the fifty-two hectares of vineyards, formed by marl-limestone soils, and with a perfect exposure to the south-southwest, international grape varieties such as Pinot Nero and Chardonnay are also cultivated (at an altitude of 200 meters above sea level) used for this classic method brut sparkling wine. The grapes are used in proportions of 80% and 20% respectively, giving in the glass a golden straw yellow color with a fine and elegant perlage. The nose is an explosion of aromas that range from apple to ripe pear, from peach to almond, up to bread crust and yeast.
