Amarone della Valpolicella 'Santico' Santi is a robust red from the Veronese valleys and one of the iconic wines of the winery. The typical Veronese grape varieties, Corvina, Rondinella, and Corvinone, are traditionally dried for over 3 months and then aged for years in oak. On the nose, it offers rich notes of cherry jam, blueberries, plum, then toasted hints and cocoa, a sign of the long passage in wood. On the palate, it is very structured, warm but with velvety tannins, round sip and pleasantly fresh finish. Ideal with flavorful first courses based on game
