BARBARESCO 'RABAJÀ' GIUSEPPE CORTESE 2019 DESCRIPTION

The Barbaresco "Rabajà" by Giuseppe Cortese is one of those wines that, once established, it is impossible to forget. One of those wines that marks the time, which is not in any way tarnished by fashion, which always find yourself in the most important dinners and never stop to drink on cold winter evenings, perhaps in front of the fireplace. A wine that deserves respect, a wine style statements, durable, full, unique. The Barbaresco "Rabajà" by Giuseppe Cortese is this: one of the best expressions of the territory of the Langhe. It tells of the story of a large family since 1971 defends, preserves, promotes and enhances its territory. This tradition is carried on today by the sons of Giuseppe, Pier Carlo and Tiziana, who look to the future with the determination of those who want, year after year, to give the qualities of a great wine.

The Barbaresco "Rabajà" by Giuseppe Cortese is just that. We are in the hills above Barbaresco, where the mention Rabajà occupies the highest part; through the Asili and Trifolera, in a side far from homogeneous. A side that is bordered on one side by the impressive amphitheater of Martinenga and the other has a profile much more linear and exhibited at noon.

Giuseppe Cortese's Barbaresco "Rabajà" is a great expression of Nebbiolo, the grape that finds in the aromatic complexity and a best expression of longevity. The Barbaresco "Rabajà" by Giuseppe Cortese begins with plant suggestions, and then give way to pleasant notes of wild strawberry, mint. Characterized by a clear and sharp minerality, the "Rabajà" by Giuseppe Cortese has a significant tannins. Barbaresco "Rabajà" by Giuseppe Cortese: a great wine, a timeless charm.
