The Barbera "Campo del Marrone" by Bruno Verdi is an intense and elegantly complex red wine from Oltrepò Pavese. It presents a bright and intense ruby red color and has aromas of red fruit, potpourri of roses and violets with a slight spiciness of star anise and cloves, while on the palate it is balanced, with present but non-invasive tannins, warm and enveloping, and with vibrant freshness, featuring a long aromatic finish of roasted coffee.
