The Barbera d'Alba by Massolino is a sincere and authentic expression of how this grape should be made. Vinified exclusively in steel and marketed already in the spring following the harvest. A triumph of wine sensations and fragrances with notes of fresh fruit and flowers and a light, fresh, and very enjoyable sip

The Barbera d'Alba by Massolino is a fragrant and fruity red wine that expresses all the youthful energy and vitality of this great wine from the Piedmontese tradition. The vinification only in steel aims to enhance the primary characteristics of Barbera, bringing to the forefront its character as a straightforward, genuine, and immediate wine. Its bouquet is fresh, still vinous, with rich, satisfying fruit and delicate hints of violet. The dynamic and flowing sip is crunchy and intense, with subtle tannins and lively final freshness. It is the perfect wine to bring to the table with soups and first courses, or to enjoy with bread and salami.

The Barbera d'Alba wine is produced by Massolino with the fine grapes that come from vineyards cultivated in the territory of the municipality of Serralunga d'Alba, in the heart of the Langhe, where the winery has been located since 1896. The vineyards are situated at an altitude of 330 meters above sea level on medium-textured soils with a strong presence of limestone. The vines are aged between 10 and 45 years and are trained in Guyot for a yield of less than 65quintals/ha. After the manual harvest, which usually takes place around mid-October, the bunches are brought to the winery for vinification. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 31-33 °C, with maceration on the skins for about 10-12 days. The wine matures for several months in steel containers and completes the aging period with a few months in the bottle before commercialization, which occurs in the spring following the harvest.

The red Barbera d'Alba from the Massolino winery is a beautiful version of this wine from the popular Piedmontese tradition, which captivates with its lively expressive richness, the genuineness of its aromas, the pleasantness of drinking, and the extraordinary ability to accompany numerous dishes at the table. The quality of the grapes from Serralunga gives an aromatic richness and an uncommon elegance, a true distinctive feature of this interesting label. In the glass, it presents a beautiful intense red with pronounced violet reflections. On the nose, it recalls the
