"Regiù" is a Barbera that stands out for balance and softness, without giving up the character that the combination with the lands of Oltrepò Pavese brings. An important meeting between Gerry Scotti, a well-known television personality and originally from the Pavese area, and the Giorgi family, wine producers in Oltrepò since 1875, can be considered a romantic return to the roots. Gerry, emotionally tied to his homeland, fondly remembers life in the countryside and especially his grandfather's vineyard, an emotionally significant gathering place for the family. The decision to produce wine that testifies to the deep relationship with one's land is therefore obvious, as is the idea of giving each label a name in the Lombard dialect. Relying on a modern and successful winery like that of Giorgi, the result can only be liquids of extreme finesse and quality.
