The Barolo 'Berri' from the Trediberri winery is a rich and enveloping red wine, the result of viticulture that combines tradition and innovation while fully respecting sustainability. Aged for 20 months in wood, this wine acquires softness and roundness, along with pleasant spicy nuances that accompany the rich aromas of red fruit. A simple yet not trivial Barolo, elegant yet not pretentious, to be enjoyed immediately or to be left for a few years in the cellar to refine and enhance

The Piedmontese wine reality Trediberri introduces its Barolo ‘Berri’, a label that reflects the traditional style of the winery. Located in the westernmost part of the municipality of La Morra and thus in the Barolo area, the Geographical Mention Berri represents the starting point of the Trediberri project, the cru from which everything began in 2007. This MGA, named after the nearby hamlet, is just 1,500 meters from the Tanaro River, which with its fresh currents influences the microclimate of the vineyards and consequently the characteristics of the finished wine.

Trediberri Barolo ‘Berri’ is a pure Nebbiolo from vines planted between 2007 and 2008 in the MGA of Berri on soils rich in pebbles, limestone formations, and emerging sandstones, situated at an altitude ranging from 350 to 430 meters above sea level with a south and southwest exposure. The alcoholic fermentation takes place in cement tanks for a period of 12-14 days, followed by 6-7 days of post-fermentation maceration for a total of about 3 weeks of contact between the must and the skins. The The liquid is then transferred to large Garbellotto oak barrels of 25 and 52 hectoliters for malolactic fermentation and aging of about 20 months. This is followed by further refinement between cement and bottle before the final market release.

Trediberri’s Barolo ‘Berri’ has a ruby red color with a garnet rim. The olfactory panorama is described by primary aromas of wild strawberry, plum, currant, blood orange, and underbrush, soon joined by precious hints of spices. On the palate, it surprises with immediacy and drinkability, while not skimping on complexity and structure, with a brilliant fresh-salty verve supporting the well-integrated tannic texture. Although this Barolo is capable of evolving for a long time in the cellar, it is also very enjoyable in its youth, especially when paired with flavorful meat dishes.
