The Barolo "Gavarini Chiniera" is an important red wine, structured and powerful, aged for 24 months in barrel. Aromas of spices, blueberries, and black pepper stand out from a wide and complex bouquet. On the palate, it is robust, elegant, and well-balanced, with solid tannins. A must-try in the prestigious Magnum format!

The Barolo "Gavarini Chiniera" by Elio Grasso is an elegant red wine with remarkable aromatic intensity, long-lived and complex, that best expresses the characteristics of a great Nebbiolo, grown in one of the best areas of the denomination. In the lands of Langhe, thanks to a mild and temperate climate and soils particularly suited to the grape variety, Nebbiolo expresses itself at the highest quality levels, with aromas of small berries, spicy notes, and refined floral nuances.

The "Gavarini Chiniera" is a Barolo from one of the most interesting wineries in the Monforte d'Alba area. The Elio Grasso estate boasts about twenty hectares of vineyards, divided into different parcels, which are vinified separately to enhance the qualities of each terroir. The wines are appreciated for their classic and elegant profile. The wine is made from Nebbiolo grapes from vineyards about 35 years old, cultivated in splendid hillside exposures facing south, at an altitude of 350-400 meters above sea level. The soils are composed of calcareous-clay marl with presence of sands. The manual harvest takes place in the second half of October, and the best bunches are sent for fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, with skin maceration and daily pump-overs. The wine matures in 25-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels and completes its aging with about ten months in the bottle.

The wine "Gavarini Chiniera" by Elio Grasso is a traditional Barolo, made according to the most ancient customs of the territory, which highlights the extraordinary qualities of the vineyards of Monforte d'Alba, an area famous for its balance and expressive finesse. It is a great red for aging, reaching full maturity after several years of aging in the cellar and has a longevity of about twenty years. It presents a light garnet red color and expresses elegant aromas of dried rose petals, violet, delicately spicy hints, on a background of small red berry fruits. With remarkable structure, it has a dense tannic texture and notable complexity and aromatic richness. The finish is pleasantly fresh and very persistent.
