Bianco 'Villa Antinori' Antinori 2025

The White “Villa Antinori” from the Antinori winery is a fresh and light white wine produced in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, in the province of Florence. This label is obtained from a blend of Trebbiano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, and Pinot Grigio grapes, plus a small portion of Riesling Renano from vines located at different altitudes and characterized by optimal exposures. The vines are cultivated using the espalier method with guyot and spurred cordon pruning on medium-textured soils characterized by calcareous-clay soils. The winery, family-run for 26 generations, is one of the most important and appreciated realities in the world for the production of fine wines of the highest quality, synonymous with the history and tradition of Italian wine.

The “Villa Antinori” White from Antinori is produced with carefully selected grapes that are hand-picked generally around the third decade of August. The clusters then reach the winery where they are softly pressed and then cooled to a temperature of about 10°C to favor natural clarification and carry out alcoholic fermentation at low temperatures, never exceeding 18 °C, in stainless steel tanks for a few weeks. The wine is then racked, after which it remains in aging for a few months in stainless steel containers before being bottled and finally ready for sale.

The Antinori White “Villa Antinori” presents itself with a pale straw yellow color with slight greenish reflections. On the nose, intense aromas of fresh white fruit and crunchy fruit appear, including apple, pear, pineapple, and banana, floral notes of wildflowers, then shifting to delicate spicy hints and candied fruit. On the palate, it is agile, slender, and easy to drink, characterized by a pleasant freshness with occasional savory-mineral notes and a finish of good persistence. This wine from the Antinori winery is a refreshing, lean, and balanced white, excellent to drink as an aperitif in the company of friends.
