"Rute" is a Bolgheri Rosso aged in wood that originates from the hilly Bolgheri lands in Tuscany. It is a blend of international grape varieties grown in the area: Cabernet Sauvignon and a small part of Merlot. Aromas of forest fruits, coffee, and sweet spices follow one another, creating a rich and refined bouquet. The sip is balanced, a synthesis of pleasant freshness and enveloping softness. Long in the finish

The Bolgheri Rosso “Rute” by Guado al Melo is a wine that is strongly territorial, expressing the place of origin with authenticity. The aromas on the nose open with varietal notes, then shift towards deeper tertiary sensations, leading to a decisive and firm sip, yet always soft and welcoming on the palate. A label of excellent quality, as evidenced by the national and international awards that characterize its market release year after year. A must-try, especially considering the more than accessible price.

This “Rute” Bolgheri Rosso Guado al Melo originates from a blend dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, to which 20% Merlot is added. The grapes of these varieties grow on the Bolgheri hills, characterized by an alluvial subsoil rich in organic matter. Among the rows, the climate is Mediterranean, refreshed by Tyrrhenian winds and characterized by a good temperature range between day and night. After a gentle pressing, the must ferments in steel at controlled temperatures, macerating on the skins. It then ages for 12 months in used wood remaining on the lees, and after bottling it continues to mature for 6 months directly in glass.

The Bolgheri Rosso “Rute” Guado al Melo presents itself to the eye with a ruby color, crossed by some slight reflections tending more towards purple, visible at the rim. The nose moves around touches of red and black berry fruit, enriched by spicy hints and references to toasted wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied, harmonious, with a concentrated sip from which a finely integrated tannic structure emerges; it finishes with a fresh finale, endowed with excellent persistence. A label that expresses the most territorial soul of the Bolgheri area, built around profiles of elegance and complexity.
