The Bourgogne 'Clos Bardot' from Domaine de Bellene is a Pinot Noir with pronounced elegance. It undergoes twelve months in barrique before spending an additional six months in oak barrels, acquiring distinguishable woody notes and equally earthy aromas, mostly of mushroom. However, the characteristic notes of red fruit in jam, especially cherry and raspberry, are not lacking, making it a great companion for game, red meats, and aged cheeses. Best enjoyed young, but also after four or five years of resting in the cellar
