The Brunello di Montalcino by Casisano is the austere and classy Tuscan red of the Tommasi family. The Casisano estate is located near the famous Monte Amiata, which shields the vineyards from the winds and allows for high-quality viticulture. Black fruits and red flowers emerge from the glass, with typical hints of spices and tobacco that develop on the finish. With fine, dense tannins, it is very persistent, fresh, and has pronounced minerality on the finish. Excellent with a ribeye or a wild boar stew
