The Brunello di Montalcino "Tenuta Nuova" is an important and majestic red wine, of elegant complexity, aged in barrel for 36 months. A bouquet of fruit, marasca cherries, and red flowers accompanies a robust and persistent sip that suggests a long evolution over time.

The Brunello di Montalcino “Tenuta Nuova” by Casanova di Neri is a label born from the desire to offer a Brunello capable of expressing elegance and power, combined with a pleasant immediacy of drink. A zone with particular characteristics was thus identified, capable of producing Sangiovese Grosso grapes of remarkable richness and maturity. The result is a refined and complex red, which offers delicate floral scents, fruity aromas, accompanied by notes of tertiary evolution, providing an exciting, intense, and persistent drinking experience.

The “Tenuta Nuova” Brunello di Montalcino is one of the labels that are part of the elite of the great reds of the Montalcino territory. Casanova di Neri can count on dedicated soils, prestigious exposures, and a passion for great wines. The vineyards were created with high planting density, with vines coming from a mass selection of the best plants from the Carralto vineyard. The 55 hectares of the estate are divided into 5 plots: Pietradonica, Centine, Cerretalto, Fiesole, and Podernuovo, each expressing different facets of the terroir, in terms of altitude, exposure, microclimate, and soils. A small mosaic to draw from skillfully, to create wines of great complexity and expressive balance.

The “Tenuta Nuova” by Casanova di Neri is a Brunello di Montalcino made with a selection of grapes from three company parcels: the Fiesole and Poderuccio vineyards are located in the northeast and are characterized by stony galestro soils: the Podernuovo vineyard faces east and is the highest, at 450 meters above sea level. Fermentation occurs spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in truncated-conical steel and wooden tanks, with a maceration period on the skins of about 24 days. The wine matures for 36 months in oak barrels and finishes aging with 12 months in the bottle. It presents a ruby red color with garnet reflections. The bouquet offers floral nuances of violet, aromas of sour cherry, red berry fruits, hints of aromatic herbs, and balsamic touches. The taste is long and intense, with a dense tannic structure and a beautiful taste progression, which pleasantly leads to a refreshing finish.
