The Cabernet Sauvignon ‘031’ Tinto Barrica from the wine estate Shukhrat Khakimov & Viticultores is configured as a sunny and Mediterranean interpretation of this famous Bordeaux-origin grape variety, produced in the Alicante wine region embracing the holistic biodynamic philosophy. Here, precisely in Sant Joan d’Alacant, for decades the Kazakh producer Shukhrat Khakimov has been committed to producing wines that are an authentic reflection of the terroir. To this end, he founded the winery Shukhrat Khakimov & Viticultores, a reality through which, together with a group of oenologists, he produces pure wines with minimal intervention.
Shukhrat Khakimov Cabernet Sauvignon Tinto Barrica ‘031’ is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from vines cultivated according to the dictates of organic and biodynamic agriculture. Following the harvest, the grapes are brought to the winery and vinified through minimalist interventions, with spontaneous alcoholic fermentation and no use of additives and auxiliaries, including sulfur. The aging phase takes place in French oak barriques and lasts for 17-24 months until the final bottling.
