Tenuta del Vallone Rosso's Carricante is a fresh and mineral mountain white wine, a direct expression of the south-western slope of Mount Etna. It is produced from grapes grown in vineyards that are up to 130 years old, trained using the Etna alberello method on volcanic and sandy soils. The bouquet recalls hints of ripe citrus fruits, aromatic herbs and iodine. The palate is taut and vertical, with marked freshness and a salty finish. It pairs perfectly with swordfish alla ghiotta, with tomato sauce, olives and capers
