CHAMPAGNE BRUT 'PERLES D'ARGENT' JEAN HU DESCRIPTION

Jean Hû's "Perles d'Agent" Brut Champagne is produced in the small village of Vincelles in the Vallée de la Marne in France. The winery has a long family tradition behind it, with the beginnings of the business in 1943 and the first bottles placed on the market in 1948. In the late 1970s, son Christian joined the family business, bringing a wave of innovation and improvement in the methods used in the vineyard, going so far as to build his own pressing center in 1991. Today it is Aurélie, Christian's daughter, who leads the work with revolutionary new ideas that can give greater quality to the wines produced.

The vineyards of Jean Hû's Champagne Brut "Perles d'Agent" are placed on soils composed of clay and limestone with an excellent position on the south hill with continuous sun exposure for full ripening of the grapes. During the winter, late pruning is done so that the plants can come back to life slowly and be protected from sudden frosts. In summer, on the other hand, the foliage is aerated so that the grapes can be better exposed and then the grapes are harvested manually. In the cellar, alcoholic fermentation takes place in steel with a second fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method. It ages 48 months on the lees.

Jean Hû's Champagne Brut "Perles d'Agent" presents a straw-yellow color with brilliant reflections to the eye. The bouquet of aromas is reminiscent of ripe yellow-fleshed fruit with notes of honey and dried fruit. The palate reveals freshness with a fine, delicate perlage and an inviting final persistence. It is recommended to be paired with grilled fish, shellfish and fried dishes; also interesting with smoked fish and vegetarian dishes. Excellent product to be consumed on formal occasions, for business lunches or family celebrations to enjoy the genuine flavor of the lands of Champagne.
