The Champagne Rosé Extra Brut 'Elégance' Patrice Guay is an elegant rosé Champagne made from Pinot Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, a great expression of terroir and an elegant tribute to the most widespread grape varieties in the area. Fine and balanced, with a long and persistent finish, it impresses on the nose with a broad and delicate bouquet of berries, violet, rose and grapefruit. Try it with a plateau of raw fish and shellfish!

The Champagne ‘Elégance’ Extra Brut from the family-run winery Patrice Guay is a rosé sparkling wine that is appreciated for its remarkable elegance, an element also emphasized by the name of the label. As stated by the producer Patrice Guay himself, this Champagne represents the expression of the winemaker's passion for the land where he was born and still operates: the Vallée de la Marne. Based precisely in Festigny, a few kilometers west of Epernay, the Guay family is committed to interpreting the area in the most faithful way possible by adopting a sustainable production vision.

Patrice Guay Champagne Extra Brut ‘Elégance’ is made from a blend of Meunier (65%), Chardonnay (20%), and Pinot Noir (15%), the latter vinified in red with skin maceration. The grapes are cultivated with particular attention to environmental health and biodiversity, as demonstrated by the certifications Haute Valeur Environnementale (High Environmental Value) and Viticulture Durable en Champagne (Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne). The grapes are hand-picked and gently pressed, with the resulting must fermenting in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The vintage wine is then added with 25% of vin de reserve and 10% of Pinot Noir vinified as still red before the second fermentation in the bottle according to the Champenoise Method. The aging on the lees in the bottle lasts for at least 2-3 years, and the sparkling wine is finally subjected to degorgement and dosage Extra Brut.

The Champagne Patrice Guay ‘Elégance’ Extra Brut has a beautiful intense pink color. Notes of small red fruits, rose petals, violet, and bread crust describe the olfactory texture. On the palate, it is fresh, dynamic, and balanced, with a fine fruity persistence.
