The Rosé Brut "Vintage" is one of the most famous representatives of rosé Champagne, an example of sensuality and harmony, elements that have always been distinctive in the style of the Pol Roger house. Long aging on the lees and cuvée that seek perfect balance and equilibrium: these are two of the main doctrines that make Pol Roger one of the reference names for any Champagne enthusiast. A reality with ancient origins, with the first productions of bubbles dating back to 1849 and the registration of the winery's brand by Maurice and Georges in 1900. From that moment on, the qualitative consistency has established the name of the winery in the pantheon of world bubbles, with illustrious and famous supporters such as Winston Churchill, to whom a cuvée has also been dedicated.
The Champagne Rosé "Vintage" comes from a blend predominantly of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The grapes come from the best vineyards in the most suitable areas for the production of the respective grape varieties, namely the Montagne Des Reims and the Cote Des Blancs. The peculiarity of this Champagne consists of the fact that, before the second fermentation, 15% of red wine from Pinot Noir grapes is added. The winemaking follows the classic processes of the Champenoise method, while the aging of about 7 years on the lees enriches the liquid, making it deep and three-dimensional.
The Brut "Vintage" by Pol Roger has a bright pink color and an extremely fine and persistent mousse. The Pinot Noir opens the dance at the olfactory level, offering typical and juicy notes of raspberries and wild strawberries, followed in succession by the creamy contribution of Chardonnay, which integrates the picture with notes of butter and vanilla. A liquid of character, it is on the palate that it reveals all its class and potential, where the perfect balance between body and freshness gives a memorable tasting experience.
