"Pietrabianca" is a Chardonnay of remarkable elegance and soft intensity, matured in barriques on fine lees. Elegant notes of tropical fruit and citrus introduce hints of flowers and vanilla. The sip is elegant and fresh, where the taste components are well integrated into a path of unique flavor

The Chardonnay Pietrabianca is a wine with intriguing fruity and mineral notes, soft and enveloping, a symbol of the excellent and consistent quality now achieved by the Apulian winery Tormaresca, owned by the Marchesi Antinori. A productive reality precisely coordinated by the Tuscan family with the valuable contribution of the two winemakers Renzo Cotarella and Davide Sarcinella, capable of enhancing the high winemaking potential of the Apulian terroir of Castel del Monte.

The Chardonnay grapes used for the production of Pietrabianca are grown in the Bocca di Lupo estate, a splendid example of an ancient farmhouse surrounded by 30 hectares of vineyards on tuff soils, all managed under certified organic farming. The constant attention given by Tormaresca in the vineyard and in the cellar has allowed it to excel more and more in the Apulian and national wine scene, giving rise to unique labels in terms of aromatic and taste profiles. In this case, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation take place in new French and Hungarian oak barriques, where the wine remains to refine on the fine lees for a few months.

The Tormaresca Chardonnay Pietrabianca has a beautiful structure and a rich personality, already well visible from the bright straw yellow color and the beautiful consistency. On the nose, it releases Mediterranean and vaguely exotic aromas, with notes of yellow fruit, citrus, and prominent flowers, enriched by toasted nuances, honey, and vanilla. The sip is soft, warm, velvety, and enveloping, supported by a balanced freshness and enriched by fruity and delicately spicy aromas that unfold slowly in a long persistence. In short, a Apulian white with a thousand facets, capable of providing satisfying emotions and impeccably accompanying convivial moments.
