The Grand Cru Cheval Blanc is a monumental red wine from Bordeaux that expresses the charm and elegance of the Saint-Emilion terroir. A real jewel for collectors and connoisseurs, able to concentrate elegance, power and finesse in one sip, with a matrix of delicate freshness and an olfactory profile of very long persistence and intensity, characterized by notes of currant, blackberry, violet flowers , sweet spices, aromatic herbs and mentholated memories

Chateau Cheval Blanc Premier Grand Cru is a red wine that comes from a prestigious domaine, located in the municipal territory of Saint-Émilion, almost on the municipal border of Pomerol. We are in one of the historically most suitable areas of the Bordeaux region for producing great red wines, elegant, structured, and long-lived. The domaine covers a total area of 39 hectares, divided into forty-five parcels, each possessing unique and particular characteristics. A variety that allows for the creation of wines characterized by great harmony and balance. It is a label reserved for great enthusiasts of Bordeaux wines, to be tasted on a special evening.

The Premier Grand Cru Chateau Cheval Blanc originates from a historic domaine, which has maintained the same appearance it had at the end of the 19th century. The vineyard area is practically the same, as is the choice to reserve half of the vineyard for the cultivation of Cabernet Franc, the true identity grape of Cheval Blanc. A peculiarity that marks the aromatic profile of the wine, giving a unique personality. The vines are cultivated on soils mainly consisting of clays and pebbles, with some veins of fine sands. The blend is composed of 50% Cabernet Franc, 48% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vinifications take place separately for each variety, following the different harvest times of the grapes. At the end of the fermentation process, with long maceration on the skins, the wine matures for 18 months in new French oak barriques and completes its aging in the bottle.

The wine Chateau Cheval Blanc Premier Grand Cru is a red of absolute excellence, which wonderfully blends concentration, elegance, and finesse. Visually, it presents a rather dark red color with luminous reflections. The olfactory profile recalls the aromas of small dark berries, black currant, blueberry, blackberry, cherry, floral hints of violet, fragrant citrus notes of blood orange, herbal and balsamic hints. On the palate, it has a good structure, with evolved tannins well integrated into a complex and rich aromatic weave, which stretches harmoniously towards a fresh and very persistent finish. A wine of great substance, destined for long aging.
