The Chianti Classico Gran Selezione "Grosso Sanese" of Podere il Palazzino is an intense red, aged, son of the area of Gaiole in Chianti. The glass is very complex with aromas of cherry jam, dried citrus and then notes of evolution with cocoa, vanilla and hints of toasting. It's intense and robust to the palate, with a great aromatic persistence and a surprisingly fresh finish, which entices a new sip.
