Maison aux Lorettes' Côtes de Bordeaux 'Pour Amélie' is a red wine with no sulfites added, part of the Pierre-Henri Cosyns' family, a dynamic Bordeaux producer. Attention in the vineyard and biodynamic practices yield vital wines like this 'Pour Amélie'. On the nose there are intense hints of red fruit, freshly picked. The palate is all roundness: silky on the sip, warm and juicy, a gastronomic wine perfect with meats and mushrooms, try it with typical 'tournedos'

The Blaye – Cotes de Bordeaux ‘Pour Amélie’ by Maison aux Lorettes is an artisanal red wine with a juicy and crunchy taste, exceptionally pleasant. The production area of Blaye, located in the Bordeaux wine region, surrounds the area of Côtes du Bourg and takes its name from the homonymous village located on the right bank of the Gironde river. Compared to the Médoc, which is on the opposite bank of the river, the territory of Blaye is richer in hills and is situated at a higher altitude.

Maison aux Lorettes Blagny - Cotes de Bordeaux ‘Pour Amélie’ is a pure Merlot from vines grown on predominantly clay and limestone soils. The agronomic management adheres to the principles of certified organic farming, integrated with biodynamic practices. Following the harvest, the grapes are crushed in stainless steel tanks for spontaneous alcoholic fermentation conducted by indigenous yeasts alone. The subsequent maturation phase, which lasts for several months, also takes place in steel and the mass is therefore bottled without any added sulfites. After a further short resting period in the bottle, the wine is finally marketed.

To the eye, the Blagny – Cotes de Bordeaux ‘Pour Amélie’ from the wine estate Maison aux Lorettes expresses a dark ruby red color with intense purple hues. On the nose, vivid and fresh fruity aromas of blueberry, blackberry, and raspberry unfold, enriched by pleasant hints of underbrush and bay leaf. On the palate, it is broad and crunchy, with juicy freshness accompanied by a silky body and a round tannic structure. A pure Merlot enjoyable already in its youth and of great versatility, pairing well with a wide range of foods such as cheese and cold cuts platters, preparations of white or red meats, or dishes based on mushrooms.
